Evil Mad Scientist!
This guy should learn to use his powers for good instead of evil!

Well after going to the AT&T Store at 7:30 am this morning to discover a line wrapped around the building I realized I was not going to be able to get an iPhone 3G today. I fumed at work for about 4 hours and left after lunch to work from home for the afternoon.
Since I was sitting at home I decided to upgrade my first generation phone to the 2.0 software. 2 1/2 hours later, I had an upgraded phone with 10 new applications. It was extremely frustrating dealing with the slammed iTunes servers for reactivation but all is forgotten now as I love the 2.0 software.
The App Store is fabulous and my favorite application is the Twitterific native application. I will actually be able to turn off all SMS notfications with this application. Also, really loving Truphone, WeatherBug, Remote and Whrrl. I plan to check out more applications tomorrow but right now I'm debating whether or not I even need to upgrade my phone.
iPhone 3G madness has begun! I just received iTunes 7.7 this morning and it includes the new remote sync funtionality. The website formerly known as .Mac is also down this morning presumeably undergoing the upgrade to Mobile Me.
I expect the 2.0 software update for the iPhone to be available for download later today and the new phone will be available at AT&T and the Apple stores tomorrow morning.
I've just completed the first season of 'Lost' and definitely enjoyed it enough to download Season 2. Here are my to 10 moments from the first season.
Ok, so I'm a little late to Adobe Lighteoim but today I'm visiting my grandmother with no Internet so I fired up the trial. I'm really liking he interface so far but am still trying to find my way around. I use Aperture so I think I'm slowed down by the comparison.
iPhone 2.0 is expected to be released at the WWDC keynote next Tuesday and I can hardly wait! Everyone who knows me knows that I am a technology junkie, trying out every new gadget that comes out and prowling all of the tech blogs.
By far, my favorite tech acquisition over the past 12 months has been my iPhone. Before my iPhone, I carried a Blackberry for my email and mobile phone needs and my iPod for music and podcasts while at work. Then the iPhone was release June 29, 2007. My iPhone meant one less device to carry to work each day but after a year of use it has become so much more valuable. I found myself using functionality that although available on my Blackberry, I never used before. I went from fewer than 50 text messages a month to over 1000. Began to use the calendar and contact functions and most importantly, surf the internet from my mobile.
I love my iPhone and don't know how I would do without it so of course I can't wait for the release of the new phone next week. Stay tuned for a rundown of the new features after the keynote on Tuesday!
Wow! This image from today's Los Angeles Times is earily similar to the tornado destruction scene in The Day After Tomorrow! Here's hoping the similarities end there...I'm not really up for moving to Mexico.

Today is the day! The Indiana Jones film I never imagined would be made opens in theatres today.
Rarely do I venture into a theatre for a file (just wait for DVD release) but I think Indy warrants the $15 to $20 per person expenditure. Click the video below to play the trailer. Enjoy!
